FIBERGLASS: REINFORCED POLYESTER RESINS (FRP), STANDARD COLOR AND FINISH, PRE-MOLDED FRP UNITS SHALL BE FABRICATED TO DETAILS AND DIMENSIONS INDICATED
Material: Fiberglass: Reinforced Polyester Resins (FRP), standard color and finish Pre-molded FRP units shall be fabricated to details and dimensions indicated on drawings.
Finished products shall conform to the following:
1.Shear Strength: 7,500 psi.
2.Flexural Strength: 2 21,000 psi.
3.Tensile Strength: 2 9,600 psi.
4.Glass Content: 30-35%
5.Resin Content: 65-70%
6.Compressive Strength: 2 21,800 PSI
7.Density: 110 pcf.
8.Fire Retardant Resins
a.Flame Spread: 25
b.Smoke Density: <450
| ASTM E 84: Class | Provide supports, fasteners, shims and other accessories required for secure and level installations.
Surface shall be solid UV-stabilized, colorfast nonfading, weather and stain resistant, uniform incolor and texture and permanently fused to the fiberglass laminate.
